Snyders Launches Snyders Prescription Savings Club

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct 19, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Snyder's Drug Stores launched the Snyder's Prescription Savings Club in Albert Lea and Mankato this weekend, which offers customers discounts on prescription drugs and other in-store savings. For a $10 enrollment fee, customers will have a choice of more than 350 generic drugs that they may have filled for just 99 cents a week ($12.72 for a 90-day supply). The discount drug card also provides club members with savings on hundreds of other generic and brand-name drugs.
Club members will have additional special in-store discounts available only to them, starting with $20 in Snyder's coupons, plus a $20 Snyder's gift certificate for enrolling in the Snyder's Prescription Savings Club. While the discount card is not intended to replace health insurance, it will benefit those individuals whose insurance does not cover prescription medications, those whose medications are not on their health plan's formularies, and the uninsured.
